It goes well past the standard belt syllabus. Elite Weapons Forms covers bo, kama, sword, and single and double nunchaku — basics first, then forms, then demonstration routines. Elite Self Defense runs three graded levels each of gun disarms, knife defense, stick defense and hand-to-hand, drawing on Aikido armlocks and wristlocks, Kenpo gun defense, and five levels of jiu-jitsu: escapes, control, sweeps, submissions and takedowns. Sparring Techniques breaks the back fist, the blitz and the side kick into drillable pieces.
Each lesson is a single technique, so progress is tracked technique by technique rather than belt by belt. You can see precisely which of the 159 you have drilled and which you have been avoiding.
This is the material that separates a competitive black belt from a comfortable one. It assumes the basics are already there and the student wants to be measured against a higher standard.
